orthea was my-great-grandmother. She was a marvelous woman, from the tales I have heard. She made the wedding cake, Norwegian of course, for my parents wedding in 1938. She also made a special rug for the marriage of grandson Howard Lane and Mary Ellen Halvorsen, which still exists.
