CANTON, IL - Edward M. Kumer, Sr., 90, of Willow Court, passed away at 6:30 AM June 24, 2008 at his residence.

He was born September 15, 1917 in St. David to Jack and Justina Grzanich Kumer.

He married Melba Pollitt and have been married for 67 years.

He is the father of Karen (Roy) Sizor of Green Valley AZ, Edward Jr. of Campbell, CA, Mark (Marcella) Kumer of Tuscon, AZ, and Shane (Heather) Kumer of Canton.

He was preceded in death by two children Debbie Howerton and Shawn Kumer, six brothers and 2 sisters.

Fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren survive.

He worked at International Harvester in Canton.

He served in the US Army during WWII.

Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be private services.
