William E. Dailey, 81, 2249 Dewey St., died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994, in his sleep.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Berkemier Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. James Bruch of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in McCook Cemetery, North Sioux City, with military graveside rites by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. visitation will be 10 alm. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dailey was born Aug. 4, 1912, in Roseburg, Canada. He moved to Flandreau, S. D., as a child and graduated from Flandreau High School. He traveled the United States for a few years until entering the U.S. Army during World War II. He came to Sioux City in 1947 and married Ethel Marie Irons in 1947 in Sioux City. She died June 10, 1981. He was a roofer by trade.

Mr. Dailey was a member of VFW Post 580.

Survivors include a son, William J. Dailey of Sioux City; a sister, Myrtle of Flandreau, South Dakota and a granddaughter, Robin Lynn of Sioux City.
