reddie Oscar Lambert was born January 25, 1920, in Kemp, Kaufman County, Texas. The son of Oscar Lee Lambert, and Zula Derrick. Freddie attended Attayac Highschool. He entered the National Guard in 1942, He trained at Camp Wallace in Galveston Texas, Fort Bliss in Elpaso Texas, and Virginia. He served in New Guinea, and Japan. He was awarded the Asian Pacific Operation Ribbon. Freddie served in the U.S. Airforce during World War II, and the Korean War. Retiring as a Technical Sargent. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
