VT-75 War Diary roster of enlisted men July 1945

ACRM Richards went to VT-75 in June or July 1945. He had attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer and was a senior and seasoned Navy enlisted man by this point. He remained with VT-75 until November 1945.

_*Bill Richards enlisted in the Navy at age 18 shortly after graduating high school. He finished his Navy career at the ripe old age of 24. By then he was a senior and seasoned "Old Navy Salt" with extensive operational and wartime experience. He was honorably discharged on 4 November 1946 after 6 years of demanding Navy duties and incredible combat experiences. Bill passed away in 2019 at age 96 and was buried at the _Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery_. The Arkansas Patriot Guard Riders honored him with a very nice _memorial ceremony.
