At the home of Judge George H. Crosby Jr. last evening, Judge Crosby performed the ceremony uniting Miss Jeffie Duke and Grover P. Brown as man and wife, a few friends being present.

Jeffie is the beautiful daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Y. Duke of this city. She is well and favorably known and is a favorite among her many friends.

Grover is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Brown also of this city. He is a manley man and his friends are numerous. Grover is home on a furlough for 10 days from Camp Funston, Kansas.

We are informed that Mrs. Brown will return with her husband to Camp Funston, and remain with him until he is called across the great deep to take further part in the great struggle in France.

Their many friends here wish them success through life and that when the was is over they will return and make their home in St. Johns.
