econd son of Maj. Arthur Chamberlin and Rosanna Slaught, of Washington Co., PA. In 1835, Arthur, Jr., married Eliza Horn, the daughter of Daniel Horn and Mary Magdalena Chamberlain. He and Eliza had nine children: Daniel Guy; Sarah; Jackson; Lucinda Emily (Em); Martha (Mat); David; Mary Ann (Annie); Huldah; and Susan Olive. By 1860, the family had removed to Vermilion, LaSalle Co., IL, where they settled.
