The division was assigned to the French XXXIII Corps, French Seventh Army, for instruction and training in the front lines.

18-Jun-1918 Elements of the division moved to the area of the Wesserling Sector, in the Vosges Mountains southeast of Epinal.

27-Jul-1918 The 35th Division assumed command of the 70th Infantry Brigade and certain French units which occupied the north half of the Wesserling Sector.

2-Sep-2018 The 35th Division was relieved in the Gerardmer Sector by the French 1311st Division with which the American 6th Division was affiliated. Upon being relieved, the 35th Division was assigned to the I Corps, which had assumed command of the front in the vicinity of Pont-a-Mousson in preparation for the St. Mihiel Offensive. The division moved to Corieux, 30 kilometers east' of Epinal, then to Rosieres-aux-Salines, I5 kilometers southeast of Nancy.
