Samuel Dunn

orn in Osage Co.,Kansas 1896, worked in Coal Mines from age 13 until he joined the navy at the close of WW I, He worked in Pearl Harbor after the bombing on 7 Dec. with the rebuilding. He left a wife and 6 son and one daughter, to help the country with the damage done by the bombing. He was always proud of his service to the America. He was the only one in his family to do so. His parents had both been born in United Kingdom. UK Six of his 8 sons served in the Military and his only son-in-law served in the Army in the Korean conflict.
