Michael as I called him, always spoke about his vaudville days with guys like Buddy Hackett and old photos adorned the walls of his studio attesting to these rememberences. He also spoke of Ed Sullivan but of course I was a bit skeptical I mean Ed Sullivan that's where Elvis got his start and the Beatles I would have never thought that this part of his story was true what a nice surprise to find out that the Duke did in fact work with Ed Sullivan still after all these years you still surprise me teacher, I miss your smile I miss the way you used to smack the keys with your ruler in frustration of the way I played piano, most of all I miss your friendship. more stories to come
