Robert Nelson

Robert B. "Bob" Nelson Born November 17, 1929 in Odebolt, Iowa, Bob passed away suddenly on April 20, 2009 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his sons, Jack and Rob; daughter-in-law, Claudia; grandchildren, Cassandra (Rufus), Jose, Fernando and Audrey (Justin) and great-granddaughters, Ruby and Alexandria. He was preceded in death by Mary, his wife of 56 years and his two sons, Paul and Thomas his guardian angels. Bob moved to Arizona in 1960 and worked for Food Giant supermarkets, Arden Mayfair, Gordens Markets and Quik Mart before retiring. He enjoyed U of A sports, golf, family geneaology, traveling with Mary, and collecting license plates from his travels. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Casa De los Ninos or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME 327-6341.
